Brooklyn Beckham 'snubs' David Beckham after hospital dash amid family feud
David Beckham has been suffering a family fallout with his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham for weeks after he chose to snub his 50th birthday celebrations lats month Brooklyn Beckham has delivered the ultimate public snub by failing to address his dad's injury online after his dad David Beckham was rushed to hospital. The former footballer, 50, is recovering in hospital with wife Victoria by his side and has since been discharged. His dash to get medical help comes amid the family fallout that has affected the Beckham family. David's eldest son Brooklyn, 26, has distanced himself from his parents and siblings after skipping all of the football icon's birthday celebrations last month. The rift continued as Brooklyn and wife Nicola stayed away from the parties despite being in the UK at the time. Brooklyn has since reportedly cut contact with his famous family and has publicly shown his support to his wife instead. In a series of blows, Brooklyn failed to celebrate David's long awaited knighthood or Father's Day. Earlier today, he promoted his sauce brand but at the time of writing, has yet to post about David's injury. Victoria has given fans an update. Victoria was the first to raise concern about David as she shared a snap of him lying in a hospital bed, with his arm in a sling. "Get well soon, Daddy," she wrote over the snap of him smiling while wearing a hospital gown. She also gave him a friendship bracelet made with white beads to form 'Get Well Soon'. The couple have yet to reveal what happened to the former England star. However, it has since been reported that David underwent secret surgery to repair a broken wrist that he sustained 22 years ago – during a friendly football match against South Africa in 2003. David recently revealed his long-running career left him with multiple injuries and years of "wear and tear". He said: "Certain parts of my body were a real mess." As Brooklyn chose to stay silent on his family in recent weeks, he has been keen to show the love for wife Nicola. In a recent post on social media, Brooklyn teased in the caption that she's his world. He wrote "my" alongside an emoji depicting the globe. Beside a heart emoji, he also commented over the photo: "My absolute angel." However, a few hours later, he returned to his page to share a message to David's mother Sandra. In the first reference to his own family in weeks, he marked his grandmother's birthday with a post that included a photo of him beside her. Brooklyn wrote: "Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much." David also shared a gushing post of his own to celebrate his mother's birthday, and made sure to give Brooklyn a nod. He captioned the tribute post: "Happy birthday mum we love you so much I hope u have the best day. "Thank you for always being there for us all Love you x @sandra_beckham49 @lynnebeckhambriggs1972 @jo_jo_beckham_ @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven." Despite snubbing his own dad and mum's birthdays this year on social media, Brooklyn made sure to wish Nicola's father, Nelson, a happy birthday in a sweet post shared on his Stories this week. "Happy birthday, Nelson, we love you," he wrote.

Glastonbury fans complain over Rizzle Kicks snub after Jordan Stephens' message
Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, known as the duo Rizzle Kicks, performed on the Other Stage at Glastonbury today with Jade Thirlwall among those in the crowd Fans of duo Rizzle Kicks shared their disappointment with the BBC earlier over their set at Glastonbury Festival. The reaction came after bandmate Jordan Stephens had himself issued a message about filming at the festival. Jordan and his bandmate Harley Alexander-Sule, both 33, performed together as Rizzle Kicks on the Other Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset this afternoon. It marked the duo's return to the festival after making their Glastonbury debut on the BBC Introducing Stage back in 2013. Prior to their latest set, Jordan announced yesterday that the BBC, the "exclusive broadcast partner" of Glastonbury, would not be filming it. He shared the news in a statement issued to fans on Instagram ahead of their return today. Jordan wrote: "The BBC are not filming our Glastonbury set. If you're not there you will not be able to watch it back. It might well be once in a lifetime. Who knows." He added at the time: "The set is [fire emoji] and we're buzzin for it." His partner Jade Thirlwall, 32, later expressed disappointment over the situation. The Little Mix member, who is set to play the Woodsies Stage tomorrow, referenced the news on her Instagram Story whilst sharing her excitement over getting to see him perform at Glastonbury. Alongside a selfie, she wrote this afternoon: "What du mean I'm about to watch my bf at glasto when we were dreaming about it this time last year. Rizzle Kicks set isn't televised (booo) so get into it and get here to the other stage lol." Jade isn't alone in her disappointment, with a number of fans having expressed frustration over Rizzle Kicks' set not being available on BBC iPlayer. Several other acts who performed on the Other Stage today, like Franz Ferdinand and Gracie Abrams, were livestreamed. The livestream for that stage however began at 2.15pm, which was after Rizzle Kicks' set. One fan wrote on X: "Rizzle Kicks not being broadcast at Glastonbury is a travesty, especially compared to some of the s**t that they are showing." Another wrote: "@BBCiPlayer why can't I found Rizzle Kicks. I'm really disappointed." A third person, who had previously requested a livestream be available for the set, later posted: "Thanks guys missed Rizzle Kicks great job." Another said shortly after the duo's set began: "No Rizzle Kicks on iPlayer, sort it out lads." Approached for comment, a spokesperson for the BBC told the Mirror tonight that the broadcaster will be providing more than 90 hours of performances. They said: "The BBC, Glastonbury's exclusive broadcast partner, brings audiences a two-month celebration of the festival this June and July. "Our BBC iPlayer coverage provides over 90 hours of performances, with live streams of the five main stages, in addition to The Glastonbury Channel and over 90 sets to watch on demand throughout July. There is also extensive coverage on TV, radio and BBC Sounds - including over 30 performances and DJ sets that will be available to hear on demand on BBC Sounds throughout July."

Love Island fans fuming and threaten to 'break in' as fan favourite at risk
Love Island audiences got the chance to vote for their favourite stars yesterday and the results were revealed tonight. Several viewers are upset that Shakira was in the bottom three Love Island viewers are threatening to "break into the villa" to protect one of their favourite Islanders after Shakira landed in the bottom three during the latest public vote. In scenes that aired tonight (June 27), the Islanders found out the results of the recent vote where viewers were asked to pick their favourite boys and girls in the villa. While some fans watching the show were delighted to see Megan dumped from the island, many were left fuming that Shakira was left at risk of elimination after she attempted to calm an explosive row between Harrison and Toni tonight. One person pledged their support for the girl, saying: "Breaking into the villa to let Shakira and Toni know we're on their side and should not have been in the bottom three." A frustrated fan chimed in, adding: "Shakira bottom three is crazy, the most level headed one there." A third declared: "Guys we genuinely need to step up next voting. It was 100 percent rigged but we need to split votes between Shakira, Toni, Alima and Yasmin and get Meg and Helena out the villa expeditiously." Others also started to buy into the conspiracy theory that the results of the vote were inaccurate, and one person claimed: "Producers playing games. No way Shakira is bottom three." Another agreed: "Now why did the producers think to lie that Shakira and Toni are the least favs? EMILY???? HELENA?????? Now the rest of those c***s will think they are better than them. Love Island feel shame and I hope you know you ruined any of the scraps of success of this season." Whether you love her or hate her, Shakira has certainly been a prominent figure on screens lately as she got involved in her best friend's relationship with Harrison, continually warning him against being dishonest with the American girl. Just a few days ago she spoke to Harrison, warning him: "My only concern is if you don't like Toni, I don't want you to lead her down the garden path." He admitted that he was not sure if she was his favourite person in the villa, explaining: "The thing with me, I'm so indecisive, I'll come away from a chat thinking Helena was the best chat…I have a chat with someone else and I'll be like ok she was the best chat." On tonight's (June 27) episode of the reality show, she took him to task even more after he did end up kissing Helena behind Toni's back. Shakira started off by cautioning Toni not to "be all in for him", saying that she sees how he behaves around Helena and does not think he is completely set on Toni. Toni was upset by these comments and asked her friend not to "put demons in my head", but she ended up leaning on her later when Shakira turned out to be right and Harrison shared a secret smooch with Helena in the Hideaway just one day after he went on a romantic date with Toni. Shakira has been praised for being a loyal friend as she confronted Harrison herself, telling him: "I don't know what planet you're on, you've obviously upset the girl, you know what reaction it was going to have."

NHS weight loss jabs might 'not be suitable' for these 5 groups
GPs will be prescribing Mounjaro to a select few people as the rollout begins, but others may need to avoid the jabs completely GPs can now prescribe Mounjaro, but only to a select group of patients who meet stringent criteria, such as having a BMI over 40 and being diagnosed with four out of five qualifying conditions. But people with other pre-existing conditions may not be able to access this weight loss drug at all. Dr Crystal Willie from ZAVA clarified that weight loss drugs "may be unsafe depending on medications you are taking or pre-existing medical conditions". This includes three specific conditions: Pancreatic disorders like pancreatitis History of thyroid cancer History of gallbladder disease Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to do either might also be advised to avoid the medication. The same goes for people on certain medications like insulin or immunosuppressants. Dr Willie told the Mirror: "You should speak to your doctor about any conditions or medications before taking any weight loss injection. Mounjaro weight loss injections can lower your blood sugar levels too much if taken in combination with sulfonylurea or insulin (other diabetes treatments). "You shouldn't take Mounjaro alongside other weight loss injections, such as Saxenda or Wegovy. This could increase the risk of serious health risks and side effects." The doctor also revealed that weight loss medication might actually not do what people think, as research from ZAVA found up to 20% of people using the GLP-1 drugs don't see the expected results or hit a weight loss plateau. There are a variety of reasons for this, including: Incorrect dosage Missing doses Not improving your diet and an inactive lifestyle Not keeping hydrated Excessive alcohol consumption Persistent stress Having a poor sleep routine Other health conditions may interfere with the effectiveness of weight loss drugs, like diabetes, hypothyroidism, insulin resistance and PCOS. Medications like antidepressants or steroids may also cause weight gain or hinder fat loss. Dr Wyllie added: "While Mounjaro is an effective medication for weight loss, it's normal to encounter a plateau at some point. To enhance your results, it's important to follow the prescribed dosing schedule and aim to reach the appropriate maintenance dose, as higher doses are generally associated with greater benefits. "Beyond medication, factors like maintaining a balanced diet, regular physical activity, managing stress, and getting enough sleep play a crucial role in supporting your weight loss journey. If progress stalls despite these efforts, consulting your healthcare provider is essential to evaluate your plan and make necessary adjustments."
